State Treasurer 56.11 Women At The Well "Women At The Well", a mus- ical narration show written by Kenneth Cope has been chosen by the Saguache Community Theatre for their 2010 Spring live theatre show at the historic Ute Theatre on 4th Street in Saguache. The production team is headed by the 8aguache Recreation Board. Car- oline Wolfgramm Irwin, Julia Hawkins Hammel, and Jackie Lu- jan Stephens are co-directing and guiding an all-female cast and crew with performances scheduled for March 26th at 6:30 p.m. and March 27th at 2:00 and 6:30 p.m. Kenneth Cope's inspiration draws upon the realization that women were the catalysts to many of the New Testament's most spiritually' poignant moments. A woman touches His garment, a woman hearkens to His invitation at a well, a woman washes His feet with her hair, a woman dis- covers His empty tomb. Written for women and performed by wo- men, Women At The Well will stir the very center of your soul. Greg- ory D., a fan of this production, writes "...Though it's billed as for women, about women, don't brush it off just because you're a guy. I'm a man and ...the songs are so beautiful and touch my soul every time I listen to them..." An award-winning songwriter, producer and performer, Kenneth Cope was educated in Houston, TX at the local High School for Per- forming Arts. He brought his own and other's compositions to life with with the extraordinary con- cept album Women At The Well focused on women of tle scrip- tures. Performed since 2006, this musical production will teach as well as inspire. In gentral, he has produced or performel in the Sa. cred/Inspirational style. Cope has won the Pearl Award several times for his musical talents from the Custom Publishing Council of North America. This Saguache Community Thea- tre production is a gift to Sag- uache, however, donations at showtime are always appreciated. The Saguache Recreation Board have chosen to share the box of- fice donations with another organ- ization that benefits others - the Saguache County Christmas Ef- fort.
