It is claimed that over nine million gallons of old fashioned coal oil was shipped into the state last year and .was sold as gasoline. One gallon of coal ell was poured into five gallons of gasoline. This di- luted the gasoline and the state lost its four cents per gallon as tax. The !properly enforced will bring the state about one half million dollars in the biennial term th is now lost because of the bootleg coal oil.
