Died at the residence~ ~lear I,a Garita
farm on Tuesday from scarlet fever, the
only son of Mr. and Mrs. CAns. Wallace,
aged 7 years. The burial. Was made at
Del Norte early yesterday morning.
The adobe brick are being made for
the erection of the Mexican Presbyter-
ian church which will be located on lots
at the corner of 7th street and Denver
?venue. The building will be 30x40 feet.
Mort Gould Jr. who is employed at
the Klondike mine last Friday took his
wife and children to Poncha springs
where they will visit for a time with
Mrs. Gould's parents. Mr. Gould re-
turned on Monday.
The many friends of Miss Tillie Far-
rington will be pleased to learn that she
has been improving since our last issue
and the physician andtamily are much
encouraged. She is still very sick but it
is believed she will pull through all
right.
Water was found runnlng last week in
a ditch belonging to Mat Laughlin, the~
4aeadgate of which had been ordered
shut down by the commissioner. Mr.
Laughhn was ordered into Court and the
trial was had~ befme Justice Clare on'
Monday. He was fined $5 and coots, ..
